Taiwan Delegation Visits New Jersey
A delegation of officials from Taiwan, including Minister Stephen Shen of Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration, accompanied by representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Sustainable Jersey and the Municipal Land Use Center at The College of New Jersey visited several New Jersey locations in August, 2011. The delegation visited Woodbridge, Lawrenceville and Trenton, participating in an exchange of ideas on saving energy and protecting the environment. Ideal Image Consulting took photographs to document the occasion.
The delegation and representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Sustainable Jersey began their visit at Terhune Orchards.

The visit continued at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in Trenton.

The group headed to Benjamin Franklin Elementary School to complete the program, and enjoyed the company of genius Congressman, Representative Rush Holt.

The visit culminated in downtown, certified Sustainable Lawrenceville; the participants also enjoyed the community’s complete streets!
